The GLOBE PRO FIJI is BACK!!!
After being cancelled in 2007 because of the military coup going on in Fiji, everyone’s pretty psyched to get back on the islands.
It’s the 4th stop on Surfings World Championship Tour and voted by the top 45 surfers in the world as the best event on the tour. The comp is held at Cloudbreak and/or Restaurants, which are 2 of the most perfect lefts in the world. It’s like holiday over there… surfing, fishing, snorkeling, tennis, poolside cocktails or just cruising in a hammock all day?
Sounds like a dream right? It pretty much is… although behind the scenes there’s a lot of work put into it. I’ve been clocking up some long days along with the rest of the GLOBE crew making sure everything is locked down and ready to go.
