Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Hot Tomato gave me some free double passes to “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”… from reading the shorts and seeing the trailer I thought it was going to be pretty cheesy.
It’s from the crew who did “40 Year Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up”. It’s the full romantic disaster movie… This dude Peter takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with a recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend, Sarah. As it happens Sarah’s traveling to the same resort… with the new boyfriend. Yeah so you can see why I thought it was just going to be another one of “those” movies.
Turns out it was funny as hell, Russell Brand drops some incredible lines that make you laugh out loud and if you don’t watch it for that… watch it for these two lovely ladies (Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell).
